Ptolemy, Online System

Using Human-Computer Interaction Methods, I designed Ptolemy, an online book collection system with a team of four other individuals with backgrounds in Computer Science, Psychology, and Information Sciences.

Based on user research, the final design focused on these main themes that were extracted from the insights drawn from contextual work models: Customization of Organization and Display, Communication, Pride, Memories.

Methods: Focus setting, Contextual inquiry, Contextual design, Think aloud, Heuristic evaluation, Storyboarding, Scenario creation, Mock-ups, Key-stroke level modeling, Usability Aspect Reporting
